Lead Residential Home Manager

The Brookwood Community is hiring for a Lead Residential Home Manager for the Full Support Homes. This position will play a critical role in expanding Brookwood’s programming to better serve Citizens who require the highest levels of medical and physical support. Reporting directly to the Director of Residential programming and working in close collaboration with the Chief Programs Officer and other members of the Citizen Life Team, this individual will help shape the future of comprehensive care at Brookwood.

Initially funded through a one-year grant, this role will begin with the thoughtful design of a full-support program in partnership with Brookwood leadership. Once the program framework is established, the position will transition to implementation. Key responsibilities during this phase will include coordinating services, hiring and onboarding additional staff in collaboration with leadership, supporting the transition of existing Citizens into the new model, and program development for the new and existing Type B homes.

A successful candidate will have the minimum of an undergraduate degree or operational experience in the field of Special Education, Social Work, or other related therapeutic genres. Further experience-based knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of special-needs population and experience with direct care for people with high level physical and medical care needs.
