BIKE FOR BROOKWOOD

OUR GOAL & MISSION

Bike for Brookwood helps change the way the world thinks about adults with disabilities by giving Citizens the opportunity to complete an EPIC bike ride for which they have trained all year!  The 2025 ride will be at Brookwood allowing more Citizens to participate and more families and friends to cheer them on.

This event raises funds for Brookwood with proceeds going to the “I Believe in Brookwood” fund.  Over 60 Citizens will be riding distances of 4 miles, 8 miles, or 12 miles and you can help us reach our fundraising goal of $60,000!

Did you know that 13% of our population lives with a disABILITY? Unfortunately, only 15% of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are employed. At Brookwood, we see the immense potential in every individual and strive to showcase the incredible abilities of our Citizens. Through initiatives like our epic bike adventures, we aim to inspire families, partners, and the community by demonstrating what Brookwood Citizens can achieve.
