The Vice President of Enterprises is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, holding strategic and operational accountability for the full portfolio of Brookwood’s revenue-generating enterprises — the Café, the Store, the Horticulture Division, and all associated online, wholesale, and corporate order operations. This is a calling more than a career: the VP of Enterprises is charged with faithfully stewarding Brookwood’s enterprise operations toward disciplined break-even performance while envisioning meaningful expansion — elevated dining options, strengthened retail experiences, and new mission-aligned revenue streams that extend Brookwood’s reach and honor the God-designed abilities of our Citizens, all within a zero-cost-basis stewardship culture where every dollar is spent with prayerful intention. The right candidate is a God-centered business leader with a heart for our culture and mission — someone who brings operational discipline and strategic vision, leads with Grace, protects the Dignity of every individual, pursues Continual Improvement with energy and Honesty, and sees enterprise as ministry, stewardship as worship, and every Citizen as made in the image of God.
Qualified candidates will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, operations, or a related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience, including at least five years in a senior role with P&L accountability — preferably within mission-driven or faith-based organizations, social enterprise, retail, food service, or hospitality environments
- Demonstrated success leading disciplined operational growth or stewardship efforts, strengthening business units toward financial sustainability while expanding their reach and impact
- Strong financial acumen with direct experience in budgeting, margin analysis, pricing strategy, and KPI-driven performance management
- Proven ability to build, coach, and inspire cross-functional teams through significant organizational change
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational and financial data into clear narratives for executive leadership, Board members, and diverse stakeholders
