Bike for Brookwood Oct. 4

October 4

Bike for Brookwood helps change the way the world thinks about adults with disabilities by giving Citizens the opportunity to complete an EPIC bike ride for which they have trained all year!  The 2025 ride will be at Brookwood allowing more Citizens to participate and more families and friends to cheer them on.

This event raises funds for Brookwood with proceeds going to the “I Believe in Brookwood” fund.  Over 60 Citizens will be riding distances of 4 miles on Oct. 4, 8 miles on Oct. 11, or 12 miles on Oct. 18 and you can help us reach our fundraising goal of $60,000!

Ways you can help!

  • Be a CORPORATE PARTNER – Your group will ride with Citizens and provide snack station support at one of the rides on October 4, 11, and 18.
  • Be a RIDER OR CHEER TEAM SPONSOR – Make a donation in honor of a Rider or the Brookwood Cheer Team to help us reach our $60,000 fundraising goal. Donors who give $1,000 or more will be featured on Bike to Brookwood shirts
  • Be a VOLUNTEER – Help out on the day of the ride at the snack and water stations

Why do we ride?

Did you know that 13% of our population lives with a disABILITY? Unfortunately, only 15% of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are employed. At Brookwood, we see the immense potential in every individual and strive to showcase the incredible abilities of our Citizens. Through initiatives like our epic bike adventures, we aim to inspire families, partners, and the community by demonstrating what Brookwood Citizens can achieve.

We invite you to join us in this journey! Your support can help us break down barriers and create a world where everyone is valued for their unique contributions. Please consider donating above to support our mission and empower Brookwood Citizens to reach new heights!

Thank you for supporting the beloved adults with disABILITIES who live and work at Brookwood!
