DESCRIPTION:The Brookwood Way® Conference is a multi-day\, in-person learning experience that opens the doors of The Brookwood Community™ to leaders\, families\, and organizations from around the world.\nWhether you’re exploring new possibilities\, deepening an existing mission\, or fine-tuning a well-established program\, The Brookwood Way Conference invites you to take a deep dive into an inclusive community where meaning and purpose are awakened through work. The Conference is built for people who don’t just want theory—they want to see a real\, working model for adult disability care\, residential life\, and vocational programs. \nGrounded in our mission\, the experience centers around collective sessions focused on spiritual life and leadership—reflecting the core from which all meaningful service flows. You’ll also have the chance to dive into targeted\, interactive learning sessions on topics like Fundraising Strategies\, Volunteer Engagement\, Residential and Community Life\, and even Just Do Something: How to Start a Program. \nThere are three learning opportunities!\nMonday\, April 27: PRE-CONFERENCE IMMERSION OPPORTUNITY\nWe’re offering two pre-conference site visits that give a real-world look at Brookwood-inspired startups\, hosted in generously donated spaces that reflect our commitment to fiscal stewardship. Each visit includes time with a Brookwood Leader sharing insights on startup strategy\, adaptive processes\, and how a mission-led vision takes root. $75 \nTuesday-Thursday\, April 28-30: THE BROOKWOOD WAY CONFERENCE\nConference sessions offer an engaging\, behind-the-scenes experience designed to immerse guests in The Brookwood Way. The day begins with a warm welcome and overview\, followed by guided campus and residential tours that bring Brookwood’s mission to life. Participants will have the opportunity to observe key enterprises and programs in action\, then dive deeper through breakout sessions\, panel discussions\, and Q&A conversations with leadership\, staff\, and subject-matter experts. Built into the schedule is intentional time for reflection\, planning\, and meaningful networking—ensuring attendees leave inspired\, informed\, and equipped with practical takeaways. $495 \nFriday\, May 1: POST-CONFERENCE FUNDRAISING ESSENTIALS COURSE\nLearn proven fundraising strategies from Brookwood’s Development Team in a practical course covering donor cultivation\, foundation relationships\, peer-to-peer fundraising\, events\, volunteer engagement\, and donor management systems.
